I just thought of a really great either movie or book idea. I want to follow a lineage of native South Americans from just before it was colonized by Spain until now. I want the lineage to end in modern day and I want him to be a labor unionist who is murdered. I don't want the family to ever reach too far above working class or middle class stature. I want the family to have just sons for hundreds of years. I want to work in world events somehow. Something like that.

I just read this and just realized that it sounds A LOT like 100 years of solitude. I honestly did not mean for it to be similar, I was just watching a documentary on how Coke exploits south american workers. Wow, this is so similar. Weird.
