So what if I use Thesaurus.com. Does that make my poetry less genuine? But then again, why do I look for obscure words? So that my reader will have to look it up? So that I seem like a deeper person? A more mysterious person? A more intelligent person? I do remember the obscure words that I look up and use. No. Now I've found a rationalization for trying to impress people. I'm trying to spread knowledge.
Heaven is out of reach to
The giant rumbling arms of the Earth
And its stinging breath
And its fires
And Mother Nature
The Good's own personal hermitage
Lake Oswego.
